Working for any company comes with its fair share of challenges, no doubt. Have you ever worked for a company where you had minimal training and were thrown into the job blindfolded? Have you ever worked for a boss who was either too hands-off or too hands-on, which hindered your work progress? Have you ever been in a work situation where you didn’t know what to do and were too reserved to ask for help? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, we feel your pain. Thankfully, at Restaurant Technologies, you won’t experience any of these woes. What can you expect? Read on to find out.
Proper training: While we encourage our team to be leaders and show initiative, we won’t expect this of anyone without proper training. Rest assured, when you walk through the doors on your first day, or first week, you’ll go through various levels of training. You’ll train with a co-worker who is in the same job position as you, plus, you’ll gain valuable experience working alongside managers from various departments. This way, you’ll see how each department is integrated with each other and how each department is part of another’s success. We’re all about teamwork!
Employee Growth: Have you ever worked for a company where you thought there was an opportunity for advancement only to find out there’s not? You won’t find that at Restaurant Technologies. If managing oil solutions is your passion and you prove that you want to be with us long-term, you’re encouraged to grow with us. As much as you want to help us succeed, we want to watch you grow, too. Just know that because you begin working at an entry-level tier doesn’t mean you’ll stay there. We groom everyone to move up and lead.
Community Forward: Restaurant Technologies is built on the principle of giving back to the community. We sponsor charity events and drives, donate to nonprofits, and organize numerous volunteer events for the team throughout the year. Whether it’s time or money, you’ll have countless opportunities to give back to the community too. According to Harvard Health, “Many people find volunteer work to be helpful with respect to stress reduction, and we know that stress is very strongly linked to health outcomes.”
Educational Support: We know college tuition is expensive, but we also believe that it should be accessible to each individual who wants to pursue a secondary education. The Educational Foundation awards merit-based college scholarships of up to $2,500 per year to children of Restaurant Technologies’ employees attending two- or four-year colleges and universities. We sincerely want to help develop the up-and-coming generations of leaders, and this is one of the ways we can. By offering educational support, it is our hope that you can perform your job with little to no worries of finding a way to afford your child’s education.
Supportive Management: As you most likely know, Restaurant Technologies is passionate about giving companies foundational resources for total oil management and kitchen safety. We are equally passionate about teaching you, our hires, about our resources, technology we use, and methods we employ. We welcome questions, whether it be about job-related techniques, work-related feedback, or general support that you may need advice on outside of work. We want to see you succeed, and if you have a dilemma that is hindering your progress, we want to know how we can properly help and guide you. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
